Escaping the past (awarded NYC trilogy, 16min)

Trilogy part I ("Jessy") focuses on a young woman working as assistent director at Broadway. She carries a model of a historic theatre with her to bring it to her workplace.
She gets bullied at the subway station and has an epileptic attack. Later she gets abused and harrassed by her director - everybody knows that. She tries to stand up.

Part II ("New beginnings") of the trilogy focusses on the dream of a child that picks up the destroyed model of the theatre at the street where Jessy dropped it.

In trilogy Part III ("Coming closer") Jessy meets the director 5 years later. They crash into each other at the street.
